He remembers the particular sound of a square tapping against a shim – a small, hollow knock that means the piece is settled. For over a decade in this trade, those details have never faded for him.

Dale will tell you he’s not the fastest installer, and he’s fine with that. He is a second-generation glazier who has spent more than a decade learning the craft from the ground up – not from a manual, but from the tradesmen who worked alongside him. His training comes from the old school: standing at a table saw, cutting stops to exact length, watching a journeyman locate a stud through plaster with nothing but a magnet and patience. He carries the credentials required to operate in Florida, and he expects the same from every pro who works under the TruePane name.
