ECO Window Systems Custom & Geometric Windows in Miami: What to Know First

ECO Window Systems custom and geometric windows in Miami are installed and serviced by TruePane Windows & Doors as an independent ECO Window Systems service provider, not an authorized dealer. Most custom and geometric repairs run $350 to $900 depending on glass size, frame condition, and whether we’re matching an existing argon fill or going with a full sash replacement. You’ll get a written line-item quote before any work starts, and the job is typically completed in a single visit.

Call (561) 956-2754

This page is written for homeowners in Miami who already own ECO Window Systems products, specifically the shaped windows: radius tops, half-rounds, trapezoids, octagons, and oversized fixed units that got put in when the house was built or remodeled. If you’ve got a fogged radius unit over the front door or a trapezoid that’s started binding in the frame, call us at (561) 956-2754. A live person answers, day or night.

How ECO Window Systems Products Fail - and How We Fix Them

ECO builds a solid aluminum frame, but Miami’s salt air, humidity, and afternoon thunderstorms find every weak point a window has. Here’s what we see most often on custom and geometric units:

  • Seal failure on radius and half-round units from the 6500 Series. The curved glass on an ECO 6500 Series window is manufactured with a bent spacer bar, and over years of Miami heat cycling, that spacer flexes microscopically until the butyl seal lets go. You’ll see fogging that comes and goes with the weather. We can often replace the insulated glass unit and keep the original frame, which preserves the window’s sizing and avoids stucco work.
  • Frame racking on oversized trapezoids and octagons. A large geometric unit that was set without proper shim spacing will drift in its opening as the concrete block expands and contracts through Miami’s wet-dry seasons. The symptom is a unit that’s tighter in July and looser in January. We re-shim, reset, and seal the unit so the reveal is even all the way around.
  • Roller and track wear on ECO casement and awning units with custom dimensions. When a window is built to a non-standard size, the hardware carries more load per cycle. On ECO awning windows wider than 36 inches, the hinge arms wear unevenly and the sash starts to sag on the operator side. We replace the hardware with matched aftermarket components that meet or exceed the OEM spec, and we re-square the sash while we’re in there.
  • Weep hole blockage on geometric fixed windows in low-e configurations. Miami gets sideways rain. ECO fixed units have weep channels that drain water from the glazing pocket, and those channels are narrow on shaped units. When they clog with blown sand and leaf debris, water sits against the bottom seal and eventually finds its way inside. We clear the weep system and reseal the interior stops.
  • Impact glass delamination on coastal installations. ECO impact units use a laminated interlayer between two panes. After ten-plus years of direct salt exposure on Miami’s barrier islands, the interlayer can start to cloud at the edges of shaped glass where the laminate seal is thinnest. This looks like a permanent haze, not condensation. The fix is an insulated unit replacement with the same or better DP rating, and we’ll register the new glass warranty in writing.

Our ECO Window Systems Custom & Geometric Windows Process

Every ECO job follows the same sequence, whether it’s a repair or a replacement unit. No shortcuts, no surprises on the bill.

  1. 1
We measure the opening and the unit twice. Dale Kessler’s rule applies to every shaped window: if the pane is not true, the job is not done. We check square, reveal, and level before we ever order glass.
  2. 2
We diagnose what actually failed. Fogged glass, a failed seal, a warped frame, or worn hardware: each has a different fix and a different price. We tell you what we found and what we recommend, on paper.
  3. 3
We source parts or glass the right way. For ECO work, we use OEM where it makes sense and quality aftermarket where OEM lead times would leave you waiting months. We tell you which is which and why.
  4. 4
We do the work clean. Our technicians are background-checked and uniformed. They lay down protection, remove the old unit or part, set the new one, shim it true, and seal it for Miami weather.
  5. 5
We test, then we register. Every repair gets an operation test and a seal test. Every new unit gets both warranty layers registered in writing before we leave the driveway, per The Keystone Standard.
  6. 6
You get the 90-Day Done Right Promise. If it’s not right, we make it right. No paperwork fights, no arguing.

What ECO Window Systems Custom & Geometric Windows Costs in Miami

Here’s what we charge for the most common ECO jobs, based on work we’ve done across Miami from Kendall to Aventura:

  • Insulated glass unit replacement on a standard half-round (36″ base): $375 to $550 installed.
  • Insulated glass unit replacement on an oversized trapezoid or octagon (48″+) with low-e or impact glass: $600 to $900 installed.
  • Full sash replacement on an ECO casement or awning with custom dimensions: $450 to $750 installed, depending on glass and hardware.
  • Full frame replacement of a geometric fixed unit, including re-sealing to stucco: $800 to $1,400 installed.

What moves the price: glass size, impact rating, low-e coatings, argon or krypton fill, and whether the existing frame is salvageable. If you’ve got an older ECO unit, we’ll quote repair and replacement side by side so you can make the call with real numbers. Call (561) 956-2754 for a free estimate.

Why Miami Homeowners Call TruePane Windows & Doors for ECO Window Systems Work

We’ve served Miami-area homes for over 42 years, and Dale Kessler started TruePane in 2008 because he was tired of seeing out-of-true installs and voided warranties get left behind by other shops. Every ECO job gets The Keystone Standard: both warranty layers registered in writing before we leave, and the 90-Day Done Right Promise on top of that. A live person answers your call 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We also install and service PGT, CGI, CWS, and ES Windows, so if your ECO unit isn’t worth saving, we’ll quote you a replacement from a manufacturer line we know will hold up in Miami. We hire local and train our technicians into journeymen, because we plan to be here in thirty years.

What Neighbors Say About TruePane Windows & Doors

★★★★★

"French doors to the patio, custom size because this house was built in 1961 and nothing is standard. Measured twice, three weeks to fabricate like they warned, and the install day they laid runners over my floors without being asked."

MMarie S.
★★★★★

"A casement crank had stripped and the sash was swollen shut. The technician, Ray, fixed the crank on the spot and only then talked about replacement for the three windows that were genuinely done. That is why the whole street uses them now."

EEleanor G.
★★★★★

"Eleven windows replaced in two days. The crew chief, Marcus, showed me the level on every single frame before they caulked it. My wife noticed the street noise was gone before I did."

RRonald P.
★★★★★

"Our bay window had rotted at the sill and two other outfits wanted to talk us into a flat picture window instead. TruePane rebuilt the opening and matched the original look. Neighbors have knocked on the door about it."

GGene A.
★★★★

"Sliding door had been dragging for years. They quoted a repair first, said the track was shot, then priced the replacement both ways on paper. No pressure either direction. Door glides with one finger now."

CCarol M.
★★★★★

"Whole-house window replacement at 71 years old is not something you want to do twice. Dale walked the house himself for the quote. Crew was the same three men all four days, and the foreman knew every window by room."

PPat and Ray L.
★★★★

"Quote was the price, which after three other bids that grew legs was worth something. Double-hungs went in clean, they hauled the old ones, and the registration paperwork for the warranty came in the mail like they said."
