ES Windows Custom & Geometric Windows in Miami: What to Know First

We provide independent ES Windows custom and geometric window repair, glass replacement, and installation across Miami. Most custom ES Windows jobs run two to four weeks from measure to install, depending on glass fabrication and whether we’re matching an existing frame or building new. Pricing lands in line with what custom-shaped impact glass actually costs in this market, not a lowball number that changes once the old unit is out. If you own an ES Windows product with a curved, arched, angled, or oversized opening, this page is for you. Call (561) 956-2754 for a free estimate.

How ES Windows Products Fail, and How We Fix Them

ES Windows builds a solid product, mostly aluminum thermally-broken frames with heavy glass packages. But in Miami, salt air and summer humidity find every weak point, and shaped units fail faster than standard rectangles because the glass edge work carries more stress. Here’s what we see in the field, and what we do about it.

  • Fogging at the curved glass edge. This is the failure we see most on ES Windows arched and radius units. The insulated glass seal along a curved edge has to hold through thermal cycling that Miami does daily: hot sun, then air conditioning pulling the interior pane cold. When the seal lets go, condensation builds inside the cavity. We replace the IGU with a new unit fabricated to the exact radius, not a “close enough” template.
  • Binding operators on oversized ES Windows casements and awnings. ES Windows builds some very large operable units. The hardware takes real load, and when a geometric frame shifts even slightly out of square, the operator gears strip. We realign the frame before replacing hardware. Putting a new crank on a racked frame just means you’ll be calling again in a year.
  • Stress cracks radiating from clipped corners on angled and trapezoid panes. Geometric glass has sharp corners where the strength is lowest. If the original install had no perimeter isolation, the glass sits hard against the frame, and thermal movement turns into a crack. We re-glaze with proper setting blocks and measure the daylight opening at three points per side, so the new pane floats the way it should.
  • Water staining and rot at the sill of custom fixed windows. ES Windows fixed geometric units rely on the installer for correct sill flashing. When water pools at the low point of an arched window or a wide trapezoid, it works its way behind the frame. We pull the unit, correct the rough opening, and re-install with sloped sill pans. The window didn’t fail; the original weatherproofing did.
  • Sealed units clouding in high-moisture rooms. We’ve replaced ES Windows IGUs in bathrooms and kitchens that were exposed to years of steam and heat without adequate weep ventilation. Once the internal desiccant is saturated, no amount of sun clears it. We replace with units spec’d for humid interior exposure and verify weep function before we close the wall.

Our ES Windows Custom & Geometric Windows Process

Here’s how a typical ES Windows job runs with us, from first call to the final walkthrough:

  1. 1
Call and schedule. A live person answers at (561) 956-2754. We ask what you’re seeing, get the window count and rough dimensions, and set a time that works. No call center, no voicemail tree.
  2. 2
On-site diagnostics. A background-checked technician measures every opening twice, checks the frame for square, inspects the glass edge and hardware, and documents the failure with photos. You see what we see.
  3. 3
Written quote, side by side. We put the options on paper: repair versus replace, OEM versus quality aftermarket parts, with real numbers and durations stated. No verbal estimates and nothing hidden.
  4. 4
Order and fabricate. For custom glass, we send exact specs to our fabrication partners, including template for any curved or angled edge. Lead time depends on the unit, usually two to three weeks for shaped IGUs.
  5. 5
Install and test. We set the glass, replace hardware as needed, seal and flash correctly, and cycle the window a dozen times. If it is an operable unit, it opens and closes clean before we consider it done.
  6. 6
Register warranties and walk the job. Both manufacturer warranty layers are registered in writing before the truck leaves. You get a clear explanation of coverage, and our 90-Day Done Right Promise applies from that moment.

What ES Windows Custom & Geometric Windows Costs in Miami

Costs vary widely depending on glass size, shape complexity, and whether we are replacing a sealed unit inside an existing frame or building a new window. Here are honest ranges for the work we quote most often in Miami:

  • Curved or arched IGU replacement: $600-$1,400 per unit, more for laminated impact glass or very large radii
  • Trapezoid or angled fixed window, new install: $900-$2,800 per opening, depending on frame condition and anchoring requirements
  • Oversized ES Windows casement or awning operator replacement: $250-$550 per window, including hardware and realignment
  • Full geometric window replacement, impact-rated: $1,800-$5,500 per opening, driven by size, glass spec, and lintel work

The price moves most on glass: impact-rated laminated units cost substantially more than standard annealed or tempered, and curved edges add fabrication time. Permit work and structural checks add fixed costs we state up front. We never surprise you with a change order. Why Miami Homeowners Call TruePane Windows & Doors for ES Windows Work

We are not an ES Windows dealer and we do not pretend to be one. What we are is an independent ES Windows service provider with over 42 years of local glazing heritage, founded by second-generation glazier Dale Kessler. When we work on an ES Windows unit, we assess it the way a craftsman assesses any piece of work: where it failed, why it failed, and what fix will hold up in Miami. Our technicians know ES Windows frame profiles, but they also work regularly on PGT, CGI, CWS, and ECO Window Systems, so when you need a cross-brand comparison or a compatible replacement, we can put it side by side on paper. Every job is covered by the 90-Day Done Right Promise and The Keystone Standard. If the pane is not true, the job is not done.

What Neighbors Say About TruePane Windows & Doors

★★★★★

"French doors to the patio, custom size because this house was built in 1961 and nothing is standard. Measured twice, three weeks to fabricate like they warned, and the install day they laid runners over my floors without being asked."

MMarie S.
★★★★★

"A casement crank had stripped and the sash was swollen shut. The technician, Ray, fixed the crank on the spot and only then talked about replacement for the three windows that were genuinely done. That is why the whole street uses them now."

EEleanor G.
★★★★★

"Eleven windows replaced in two days. The crew chief, Marcus, showed me the level on every single frame before they caulked it. My wife noticed the street noise was gone before I did."

RRonald P.
★★★★★

"Our bay window had rotted at the sill and two other outfits wanted to talk us into a flat picture window instead. TruePane rebuilt the opening and matched the original look. Neighbors have knocked on the door about it."

GGene A.
★★★★

"Sliding door had been dragging for years. They quoted a repair first, said the track was shot, then priced the replacement both ways on paper. No pressure either direction. Door glides with one finger now."

CCarol M.
★★★★★

"Whole-house window replacement at 71 years old is not something you want to do twice. Dale walked the house himself for the quote. Crew was the same three men all four days, and the foreman knew every window by room."

PPat and Ray L.
★★★★

"Quote was the price, which after three other bids that grew legs was worth something. Double-hungs went in clean, they hauled the old ones, and the registration paperwork for the warranty came in the mail like they said."
